1) I started classes today. The white kids all came out of hiding and are nestled in the fine arts. My classes are alright. I need to by books, but way less than I have to do at Irvine. I'm taking two thrid year (in South Africa it's the final year) classes with all the same students and the same professor. Hilarious!

2) I am reading my google reader. I will be here for the next five hours! Oh my goodness how I've missed you!! You are my inspiration! Huzzah to you!!! I indulge on this goodness. The best part of finishing registeration is that I can now use to computers here! My own computer doesn't get configured for the internet here until the 20th, but until then I can use the internet at no cost! Well, some cost but it's all gone with the wind already!

3) Yesterday I started my first bad case of missing home. I was walking to the grocery store when this random kid walking by said "You've got to change your glasses. Seriously." It's something so tiny and insignificant, but it made me feel terrible all of a sudden. It's like, I'm used to being fabulous at home, and here I'm that funny asian girl. Sorry make that Japanese. So since then I've tried to feel better, but I kind of just want to snuggle in my full size bed and walk up only to eat niu rou mein and pai gu fan. Yuck, I need to keep busy. That's the only solution.

4) AIDS is scary. Like seriously. Even though it's not talked about that much, there are all these public announcements and stuff. It makes me nervous. I just have a lot of anxiety as a person.

5) Really, my time here has been awesome. I just need to sort myself out.
