This is the bento I made him. Yes. Rice, a heart made of korean bbq beef, peppery asparagus cooked with slices of pork belly, two ChocoPies, three packages of Taiwanese salted peas, and a love note. Handle my crazy for four months and you may be just as lucky. Also, today I've decided that for our six months I want to go to Medieval Times. Where I will get very very drunk.

Today was exhausting. My car was towed. That sucked. Also, I had no proof insurance. That sucked even more. But on a very happy up lifting note, I had this following conversation with John Liu (Click his profile but first note him mid chuckle!):

John Liu: So did your editorial get published?

Grace Young: What?!?! What editorial!?!

JL: The letter you wrote to the New U?

GY: Oh noooooooo. They needed the space for other crappy opinion pieces that read like fan fictions. And they wanted to silence my Asian American Voice. HAHAHA (imagine this with the added element of manicalness).

JL: That is what they did. They want to silence you. Well, it's okay because I thought your article was very well written and articulate.

GY: WOULD YOU HAVE GIVEN ME A TWENTY EIGHT OUT OF THIRTY?!!?!?

(side note: So the first essay of the class was returned and I got a 28/30, which was the highest grade in the class. BUT, John Liu grades papers in relation to the other papers and not by themselves! Like, a third of the class was in the D range which means my paper would really be a C!!! I was very butt hurt.)

JL: I would have given it a 30.

GY: BBBBBIIIIGGGGGGG HHUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG.

So, suffice to say. Today was rad.
